30 FANS FROM 30 CITIES: A STORY OF FAN LOYALTY

It was an incredible journey: finding, meeting and interviewing on film at least one fan from every MLB team last week at Citi Field during the 2013 MLB All-Star Game festivities. And now that we've finished post-production of our digital short about Baseball fan loyalty, 30 Fans from 30 Cities. I have to say... Man! Baseball has got to have some of the most loyal, interesting and affable fans on the planet!

We heard some beautiful stories that, truly, only Baseball fans could produce. There was our 10-year-old New York Mets fan, Julian, who opened the interviews by professing he's been a fan "since I've been able to talk." And our mid-20s Baltimore Orioles fan from Manhattan, Travis, who said he "latched on ... when I was five years old in the New York PONY Leagues when they handed me my first Orioles jersey." Then we had our Cincinnati Reds fan, David, a mid-40s father who is raising his family to root for Cincinnati because of the "tradition of the Big Red Machine." And of course who could forget our Diamondbacks fan, Will, from Westchester County, who has been an Arizona fan "since 2001 when the Diamondbacks beat the hell out of the Yankees."

We wholeheartedly appreciate all the feedback and recognition from friends and industry colleagues we've received since releasing our digital short on Vimeo. We were pleased to see our video linked on YardbarkerSB NationMets PoliceUni-Watch, and many other fantastic blogs, Twitter pages and Facebook posts.

This type of field research is just one aspect of sports branding and marketing that we do here at Fanbrandz. I hope you'll take the time to share with your friends our fan video, but I also hope you'll take a few minutes to learn a little bit more about what we do by heading over to our Work page, and eventually to our Contact page to speak directly with us about how we can help you connect with your fans on a deeper level than ever before.

30 Fans from 30 Cities: A Story of Fan Loyalty

Every season, over a three day period, baseball fans converge from all across the world to celebrate the best players in baseball at the annual MLB All-Star Game. In a digital short we call 30 Fans from 30 Cities, we ventured out to Citi Field on a mission to meet at least one fan from every team, and see what stories they had to share.

As a sports branding and design studio, our goal was to increase our knowledge about the relationships fans have with their clubs, and to find out what keeps baseball fans so incredibly loyal.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in our interviews -- we had a blast meeting you all! Enjoy the second half of the season and we'll see you in Minnesota.

Best of 30 Fans in 30 Hours, Kansas City

Last year, at ASG 2012 in Kansas City, we decided to meet 30 fans in 30 hours. The results were amazing as we got to talk to fans from all over the country who all shared a common bond: immense loyalty to their team.

Check out a few of our favorite photos from last year below!
