The Astros’ Brand DNA that came to life in 1964 had all but disappeared in the 90s, and after new ownership stepped in, the team was looking to embrace the heritage of the Club. This included a return to the Navy and Orange color palette that the Astros had claimed for nearly thirty years, and a reinvention of the enduring symbol of the franchise: the Star. This return to form also meant the return of the classic “tequila sunrise” in the form of the Batting Practice jersey.
