The 2024 Postseason and World Series program was designed to celebrate Major League Baseball’s unique championship trophies - the William Harridge Trophy, the Warren C. Giles Trophy, and the iconic Commissioner’s Trophy - the centerpieces of the identity and theme art illustrations.

Final Score: Los Angeles Dodgers (NL) 4 | New York Yankees (AL) 1
The 2024 Postseason identity was a true collaboration of many talented hands. Led by Fanbrandz in partnership SKYE Design, the final branding package was the result of many trusted specialists including type designers, illustrators, animators, and a mammoth production effort that includes hundreds of files. The highlights of the 2024 identity are the inclusion of trophy illustrations in the Championship and World Series marks, and the creation of a custom beveled font, Flare Extended, to compliment MLB’s other in-house typefaces.
This year’s identity includes the use of master “key art” as the primary source of theme art. An abstraction of the championship trophies, the art could be cropped in unlimited ways to add texture and tone to branded messaging. To showcase the evolution of the identity from Division Series to Championship Series and finally to World Series, we created three distinct versions of the key art that would evolve as the Postseason went on. We used navy and red to denote the Division Series, silver for the Championship Series, and transitioned to gold for the World Series to elevate the brand and make this culmination of the 2024 season feel grand.
