BRINGING THE 2017 NHL WINTER CLASSIC UNDER THE ARCH

NHL will host its 9th Winter Classic outdoor game in St. Louis this January. Sometimes a place presents an obvious visual connection that just simply cannot be ignored. The St. Louis Arch was constructed just two years before the 1967 NHL expansion that brought the Blues onto the ice in its shadow.

The Winter Classic celebrates the beginnings of hockey and, for this exciting outdoor matchup between the Blues and the Blackhawks, the art theme will be firmly anchored in late 60’s aesthetic. Thanks again to NHL’s Paul Conway for his vision and always rewarding collaboration. St. Louis 2017's identity marks Fanbrandz seventh Winter Classic design with the NHL.
